Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by gathering a heat-proof container and placing 6 black tea bags inside. In a kettle, boil 3 cups of water until it reaches a rolling boil, then pour this hot water over the tea bags. Allow to steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and stir in 1/3 cup of granulated sugar until dissolved.
  2. Set the brewed tea aside to cool to room temperature. In a large pitcher, combine 2 cups of cold water with the fresh juices from 1 orange and 1 lemon, along with your pineapple juice.
  3. Once the tea has cooled, pour it into the pitcher containing the citrus juices and cold water. Stir everything well.
  4. Taste your Tropical Iced Tea to see if the sweetness suits your palate. If desired, add additional granulated sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
  5. To serve, fill tall glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea over the ice. Garnish with sprigs of fresh mint and citrus slices.
  6. Enjoy your Tropical Iced Tea, and if you have leftovers, store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to one week.
