Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, mix one egg, milk, and breadcrumbs. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until breadcrumbs are moist.
- In a larger bowl, combine the soaked breadcrumbs with ground beef, onion, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
- Transfer the mixture to the baking sheet and shape into a loaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes until the top is brown.
- Spread barbecue sauce on top and return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
