Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. If using fresh sweet potatoes, start by peeling them and slicing them into ½ inch thick wedges or fries.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add the sweet potato fries and drizzle them with olive oil. Toss gently to coat.
  4. Spread the coated sweet potato fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. While baking, combine brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and kosher salt in a bowl and whisk until blended.
  6. Transfer hot fries to a mixing bowl, sprinkle with half of the brown sugar mixture, and toss to coat. Add remaining mixture and toss again.
