Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together one egg and a splash of heavy cream until well blended.
  3. Roll out one sheet of thawed puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Cut the rolled-out puff pastry into six equal rectangles and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  5. Place a slice of ham and a rectangle of gruyere cheese in the center of each pastry rectangle.
  6. Brush the edges of each rectangle with the egg wash, fold over to seal, and pinch the edges together.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with thyme and everything bagel seasoning.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
