- Finely chop the onion, garlic, and fresh herbs. Set a large mixing bowl ready for the next step.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken with chopped onion, garlic, and feta cheese, along with parsley, dill, oregano, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, lemon juice, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix gently until just combined.
- Form the mixture into uniform burger patties, about ¾ inch thick, and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat and cook patties for 6-7 minutes per side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Alternatively, bake in an oven preheated to 375°F for 20-25 minutes or air fry at 375°F for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Assemble burgers on pita or buns with tzatziki sauce and fresh vegetables.
