Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Chop a ripe fresh pineapple and place it in a saucepan with 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  2. Strain the pineapple mixture through a fine sieve into a large bowl or pitcher, pressing solids to extract liquid.
  3. In a separate saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar over medium heat until dissolved.
  4. Combine cooled pineapple-infused water, simple syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and cranberry juice in a pitcher.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to meld flavors.
  6. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices, pineapple wedges, or fresh mint.
