  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for 5-7 minutes until golden-brown and crispy.
  4. Flip the thighs over, adding thyme, rosemary, and lemon slices to the skillet around the chicken.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for about 15-18 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
