Preparation Steps
  1. Start by rinsing the pre-cooked shrimp under cold running water; pat dry and remove shells and tails.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard; whisk until smooth.
  3. Add garlic powder, paprika, and season with salt and pepper to taste; stir well.
  4. Dice celery finely and chop chives; fold into creamy mixture.
  5. Gently add shrimp, folding them in to coat without breaking.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or lemon juice as needed.
  7. Cover salad and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
