Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown 1 pound of ground beef for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until fully cooked.
  3. Add one chopped onion and two minced garlic cloves to the skillet with the browned beef. Sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 cup of beef broth into the mixture. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of frozen peas and carrots into the beef mixture after simmering. Cook for an extra 2 minutes.
  6. Grease a mini muffin pan with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking. Spoon the savory beef mixture into each cup, filling them about three-quarters full.
  7. Scoop a generous dollop of mashed potatoes onto each filled cup using a spoon, spreading them evenly.
  8. Place the muffin pan in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops turn golden brown.
  9. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
