Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. In a separate bowl, whisk wet ingredients until smooth. Combine and pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. For the filling, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla, then fold in pureed strawberries. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold into the mixture.
  4. Remove the cooled cake from the pan, place on a serving plate, and spread the cheesecake filling over the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. Garnish with fresh strawberries and whipped cream if desired. Slice and serve.
