Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink. Drain excess fat and cool slightly.
  2. Combine shredded hashbrowns, cooled sausage, beaten eggs, shredded cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and mix well.
  3. Portion out the mixture and form into bite-sized rounds, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, add olive oil or cooking spray, and cook the bites for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden-brown. Alternatively, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Transfer cooked bites to a paper towel-lined plate and serve warm with dipping sauces.
