Ingredients

For the Taquitos
  • 1 cup Apple Pie Filling Homemade or store-bought
  • 4 pieces Flour Tortillas Medium-sized
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter For brushing
For Coating
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by laying medium-sized flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. Ensure they are soft and pliable; if they seem stiff, microwave them for a few seconds to warm them up.
  2. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of apple pie filling onto the center of each tortilla. Gently roll each tortilla tightly from one end to the other.
  3. Once all the taquitos are rolled, melt some butter and use a pastry brush to coat the outside of each one.
  4. In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Mix them well until the mixture is uniform.
  5. Take each buttered taquito and roll it in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until it’s fully coated.
  6. Arrange the coated taquitos seam-side down in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and cook for 9-11 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Remove the air-fried taquitos from the basket carefully and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
