- In a large bowl, combine ground beef or turkey, crushed Ritz crackers, beaten egg, and milk. Mix with ketchup, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until just combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the loaf pan, smoothing the top. Place it on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake uncovered for about 1.5 hours until golden brown.
- At the 45-minute mark, spoon half of the topping sauce over the meatloaf.
