  • 1 block extra firm tofu or super firm tofu
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch or Arrowroot/Tapioca Starch
  • 1/2 cup plant milk unsweetened soy or oat milk
For the Breading
  • 1 cup panko style bread crumbs for extra crunch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for coating
  • 1 teaspoon paprika smoked paprika is ideal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Buffalo Sauce
  • 1/2 cup red cayenne pepper hot sauce Frank's RedHot is popular
  • 1/4 cup vegan butter can substitute with refined coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For Garnishing and Serving
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley for garnishing
  • 1 cup Dressing Vegan Bleu Cheese/Ranch for dipping

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with olive oil.
  2. Press the tofu for 20-30 minutes to remove moisture, then pat dry.
  3. Cut the pressed tofu into 18 wing-shaped pieces.
  4. Set up three bowls: one with cornstarch, one with plant milk, and one with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Dip tofu in cornstarch, then in plant milk, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the wings on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, flip and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
  7. Melt vegan butter in a saucepan, mix with hot sauce, garlic, and salt to make the buffalo sauce.
  8. Toss baked tofu wings in buffalo sauce and serve with fresh parsley and dressing.
