  • 1 lb sausage meat any flavor
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs for coating
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 tblsp flour for dusting
  • 1 beaten egg for egg wash

Instructions for Air Fryer Scotch Eggs
  1. Boil the eggs for 6-7 minutes, then plunge them into ice water to stop cooking.
  2. Peel the eggs and set aside.
  3. Divide the sausage meat into equal portions; flatten each and wrap around an egg.
  4. Dust each wrapped egg in flour, dip in beaten egg, and roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and cook the eggs for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
