  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon Consider adding nutmeg for extra warmth.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice your brioche or Texas toast into thirds, creating sticks that are about 1 inch wide.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until fully combined and smooth.
  3. On a large plate, mix together sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Lightly dip each bread stick into the custard mixture without soaking.
  5. Roll each dipped bread stick in the cinnamon sugar mixture, ensuring they're evenly coated on all sides.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes. Arrange the bread sticks in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 6-8 minutes, or until they are golden brown and fragrant.
  8. Check for doneness; flip them halfway through if necessary. Once crispy, remove from the air fryer.
  9. Let them cool slightly before serving warm, drizzled with maple syrup or topped with fruit.
