Method
 

Directions
  1. In a medium saucepan, mix together granulated sugar and milk over medium-low heat, stirring continuously until the mixture simmers gently, about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Allow the mixture to come to a full boil and cook for 2 ½ minutes while stirring frequently to avoid burning.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth and glossy.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 8x8 dish lined with parchment paper and let cool completely at room temperature for about 1–2 hours.
