Cooking Steps
  1. Cook the chopped bacon in a Dutch oven over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes until crispy. Remove and set aside.

  3. Sauté the diced onion for 5 minutes, then add minced garlic for an additional minute.
  4. Add cubed potatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cream cheese until melted, creating a creamy base.
  6. Gradually mix in shredded cheddar until fully melted without boiling.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and mix in half of the reserved bacon. Warm on low for 3-5 minutes.
  8. Ladle into bowls and top with remaining bacon, shredded cheese, and your choice of toppings.
