  • 1/2 cup Low-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth for vegetarian
For the Flavor
  • 1 medium Onion (finely diced) sauté until softened
  • 1 stalk Celery (finely diced) adds crunch and flavor
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley (chopped) optional
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme or other dried herbs
  • to taste Salt essential seasoning
  • to taste Black pepper essential seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil or unsalted butter for sautéing

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Sauté aromatics: Heat olive oil or unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and celery, sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine chopped turkey, breadcrumbs, and the cooled sautéed onion and celery mixture. Add cranberries, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper, mixing gently.
  3. Add binding agents: Beat the egg and pour it into the turkey mixture, gradually stirring in chicken broth until the mixture holds together.
  4. Chill mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes to firm up the mixture.
  5. Shape and prepare: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Portion the mixture into balls about 2 inches and place on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Cook: Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Alternatively, air fry at 360°F (182°C).
