Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin or line it with mini cupcake liners.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough on a clean surface, cut triangles in half, and press each piece into the prepared muffin cups.
- Spoon 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling into each dough cup, then top with 1 teaspoon of whole berry cranberry sauce.
- Optionally, sprinkle chopped pecans or orange zest on top of each filled cup.
- Bake for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Arrange the bites on a festive platter and serve warm.
