Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the cheese tortellini, cooking for 3-5 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season your steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Sear steak for 3-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and let it rest.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and 3/4 cup of whole milk, stirring continuously. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Whisk in 1 1/4 cups of Parmesan cheese until melted. Season sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Return sliced steak and tortellini to skillet, tossing for about 2 minutes until well combined and heated through.
