  • 1 cup Brown Sugar Light or dark
Topping
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Can substitute with dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar Can swap for coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt Flaky recommended

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. Melt butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it boils.
  4. Pour the toffee mixture over the saltine crackers and bake for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee and let them soften for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl; sprinkle over the chocolate layer.
  7. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the cinnamon sugar evenly.
  8. Allow to cool completely at room temperature before breaking into pieces.
