For the Ketchup Glaze
  • 1 cup Ketchup BBQ sauce can be used for a smoky twist

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, cheddar cheese, bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in your greased baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix ketchup and brown sugar to make the glaze.
  5. Spread the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for approximately 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
