- Begin by drying the sliced pickles thoroughly with paper towels.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, flour, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the panko breadcrumbs into another shallow dish for easy coating.
- Take each dried pickle slice and dip it into the egg wash, then press into the panko breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and arrange coated pickles in a single layer.
- Air-fry for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- While frying, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, black pepper, onions, garlic and optional dill in a bowl.
