  • 1 jar Sliced Pickles Any type of pickle can be used.
  • 2 large Eggs Can substitute with a flax egg for vegan option.
  • 1 cup Flour Gluten-free flour can be used.
For the Coating
  • 2 tablespoons Hot Sauce Use your favorite flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs Regular breadcrumbs can be used if panko is unavailable.
For the Dip
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt.
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Light mayonnaise can be used.
  • 1 small Minced Onions Chopped finely.
  • 2 cloves Garlic (Minced) Substitute with garlic powder if fresh isn't available.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Dill Optional.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by drying the sliced pickles thoroughly with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, flour, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the panko breadcrumbs into another shallow dish for easy coating.
  4. Take each dried pickle slice and dip it into the egg wash, then press into the panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and arrange coated pickles in a single layer.
  6. Air-fry for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  7. While frying, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, black pepper, onions, garlic and optional dill in a bowl.
